Application Instructions | Atlantic Bridge

Step 1: Submit Your Online Application

Complete the online application form via the Atlantic Bridge Application portal which is linked in your Application Packet. Refer to your Application Packet for specific guidelines regarding school selection and program eligibility.
Once your application form and schools have been selected, an admissions counselor will send you an Application Acknowledgement email. This email will list documents that are required to complete your application.

Step 2: Submit Your Supporting Documents

Whether you are applying to one or multiple schools, only one set of supporting documents is required. Applicants are encouraged to submit supporting documents as soon as possible. Documents can be updated/revised throughout the admissions process.

Please note: During the months of November and December, please allow up to 10 business days from the date we receive a document for it to be manually processed and added to your application.

TRANSCRIPTS
- 1. Either hard copy or electronic transcripts may be submitted.
  2. Official Hard Copy Transcript(s) must be sent directly from your school to the mailing address listed below in the “Contact Us” section. Additionally, applicants may submit their own transcripts in a school sealed envelope.
  3. Electronic Transcript(s) may be sent via your school’s electronic transcript forwarding service, or a private transcript forwarding service (e.g. Parchment, eScrip-safe, National Student Clearinghouse, etc.) to admissions@atlanticbridge.com.
  4. If using the MyCreds platform, first create your MyCreds account using your own email. Then, follow the instructions in this video to submit the document to our team.
  5. Transcripts MUST be submitted in English. If your school does not offer in-house translations, you will need to request that your transcript is translated by a third party service. Students frequently use services like Translayte and The Spanish Group.
  6. RCSI-Bahrain and Queen’s University Belfast require submission of a grade 9-12 high school transcript, regardless of your level of education.
  PLEASE NOTE: If currently enrolled, please submit your current transcript as-is. Updated marks will be requested at a later date.
LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
- 1. 2 letters of recommendation or one committee letter are required.
  2. At least one (1) of the letters must come from an academic referee, preferably a science or mathematics professor, lecturer or teacher.
  3. Letters should be addressed to “The Admissions Committee” and contain no references to any specific university.
  4. Letters must be submitted following the instructions on the Guide to Letters of Recommendation page.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
- Prompt: Why do you want to study medicine*, and what steps have you taken to achieve your goal?
  
  *If applying to dentistry, physiotherapy, or pharmacy, replace the word “medicine” in the prompt accordingly.
  
  Your personal statement should follow the following format:
  1. Maximum of two pages, double spaced, 12-point font.
  2. Must not mention any of the schools you are applying to.
  Submit your personal statement on your Atlantic Bridge portal.
RESUME/CV
- 1. Maximum of two pages. No margin or font requirements.
  Submit your resume/CV to your Atlantic Bridge portal.
COURSES IN-PROGRESS/UPDATED MARKS
- Courses In-Progress:
  1. If you are currently or you will be taking courses through August 2026, please type up a Courses In-Progress document that matches the format of these Courses In-Progress PDF examples.
  2. You will type this document yourself.
  3. Screenshots and unofficial transcripts will not meet the formatting requirements and will be removed.
  Updated Marks:
  1. If you have Fall 2026 coursework, we will ask you to email an Updated Marks document to our team once your final Fall semester grades become available, or mid-year grades (typically available in December/January) if your school operates on a full-year course schedule. Please do not send mid-term marks.
  2. You will need to type up the document yourself and format it after the example provided.
  3. These marks should be listed as they appear on your transcript and include changes to your course schedule.
  4. Screenshots and unofficial transcripts will not meet the formatting requirements.
EXAM RESULTS
- 1. If you are applying to a 5-6 year Medicine program, and have taken IB, AP, ACT, or SAT exams, you must upload your results to your portal.
  2. If you are applying to the 4-year graduate entry Medicine program or the 5-year Medicine program and you already have or will have a bachelor’s degree by year of entry, you do not need to submit IB, AP, ACT, or SAT exam results.
  3. If you are applying to a 4-year graduate entry Medicine program, please forward your MCAT score through the AAMC website to Atlantic Bridge. If you have taken a GAMSAT exam, please send a screenshot of your score report to your admission counselor for verification.
  4. If you are applying to the Dentistry program at Queen’s University Belfast, you must upload your AP exam results (if you have or will be taking AP exams) to your portal, regardless of your level of education.

DEADLINES

Applications are closed for Fall 2025 Entry. Applications for Fall 2026 Entry will open August 2025.
For Fall 2026 Entry, the deadline to pay your application fees is November 15th, 2025.
The deadline for first-round assessment is December 15th, 2025. All payments and supporting documents must be submitted prior to this date in order for our team to manually finalize your application.*

For most of the programs and schools, new applications will close January 31st, 2026.
- Queen’s University Belfast will only assess applications completed with high school transcripts by January 31st, 2026.
Applications will not be processed after March 31st, 2026.

FEES

A non-refundable application fee is required. The fee structure is as follows:

Medicine and Dentistry application fees are $75 USD per school (Example: If you are applying to two schools, the application fee is $150). After November 15th, the fees increase to $100 USD per school.
Pharmacy and Physiotherapy application fees are $50 USD per school. (Example: If you are applying to two schools, the application fee is $100).
